Service Description
MBSR is the original 8-week mindfulness course founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn at The University of Massachusetts Medical Center in 1979. It is held in a group setting, with teacher-guided instruction of formal and informal mindfulness practices in order to cultivate awareness of the ways that the mind and body connect for health and well-being. - Information Session (1.5 hours, free of charge), provides a brief introduction to mindfulness meditation practices, research, course particulars, and Q&A about joining a course. Note: It is required of all enrolled participants. - 8 x Weekly Sessions (2.5 hours each) in-person on Reading material and audio recordings are provided. - 1 Day Retreat (7 hours) , is a program included as part of the course curriculum. - Home Practice for 45+ minutes daily throughout the course. 7pm March 18th - May 13th 2025 (no class over CNY)
